The original idea for this painting (40′ x 30″) came after reading a fascinating book about the escapades of Pizarro and the Spanish conquistadors conquest of Peru and their torment in the rain forests.but the painting grew in to something a little more bizarre. Also considered to be another follow on from the Granddaddys Bedroom. Notice the bird and the pyramid in the distance which can also be seen in the Cutting of the Kards.
